Careers: Contact Center Consultant

This position is with SOS, a Contact Center solutions provider and an Interactive Intelligence Elite Partner. Based in Loomis, California, SOS is expanding our operation to the Phoenix area. We have an immediate opportunity for a senior-level Contact Center Consultant in Phoenix.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining and executing on an effective business, sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory
  • Prospecting for clients and engaging them through a consultative sales approach
  • Working closely with Interactive Intelligence and SOS sales teams to develop a pipeline of long and short-term opportunities with prospective and existing clients
  • Exceeding a sales quota to be established annually by the incumbent supervisor
  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue
  • Performing sales activities (face-to-face meetings, demonstrations and proposals) at a pace which will ensure the ability to meet quota
  • Documenting all sales contacts and activities in Microsoft CRM
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge about the products and services SOS provides our clients
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of competency in demonstrating our solutions
  • Providing regular feedback to sales management
  • Responsibly engaging vendors and SOS staff (System Engineers, Field Engineers and Project Managers) to help meet customer, vendor and SOS goals

Background Required:
  • Account management skills as well as strong "hunting" skills.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, the ability to determine (with the assistance of vendor and SOS technical resources) the correct solutions
  • Accomplished in being able to describe and prove to clients how specific solutions address clients' business issues
  • A proven track record of sales over-achievement, a high level of professionalism as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
  • An understanding of the Contact Center environment, the manufacturers who compete in this market and the advantages/shortcoming of major competitive solutions
  • Travel to client sites is required
