Position Description:

Cisco IP Telephony Engineer

Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 annually

Primary Responsibilities:

The Engineering role is primarily responsible for configuration, implementation, and support of our clients. This position is a full-time position.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Configuration, and on-site Implementation

  • Lab pre-build and testing

  • Design validation

  • Help Desk support for clients, both post-project and support contract clients

  • Certification maintenance and skill advancement

  • Daily time entry

  • Customer Satisfaction

  • Client documentation upkeep

Required Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with IP Telephony systems, Cisco Call Manager, Unified Messaging, Cisco IPCC/Express, and Call Center Systems
  • Cisco IP Telephony & networking certifications
  • Strong experience in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience in WAN Transport using ATM, Frame Relay, Wireless, MPLS
  • Experience in a large Multicasting, QOS, MPLS, and VPN
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems through creative thinking and determination
  • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision; self directed and strong work ethic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel (25%)
